We’ve been together ten years, let’s get married!

Grafton Manor wedding.

Grafton manor is a thriving country house hotel located just outside Bromsgrove. It’s full of original features, character and charm. Karen and Michael had been together for a few years and decided to get married on site in the chapel.

Natural wedding photographer.

One of the biggest compliments for me, is when I get asked to photograph a wedding by a family I have already done a wedding for.
In May last year I got to spend the day with Rachel & Stephen and their lovely families. A few months later I received a phone call from Michael (Rachel’s step dad), saying that he and Karen had decided that after being together ten years and seeing both of their daughters get married, they too were going to get married. They had both loved the natural photographs I took at Rachel’s wedding and so asked me along to their wedding to do the same!
So on May day, I upped and left Stafford and went to spend the day with their family again at the newly refurbished Grafton Manor. Ironically the name of the room they got ready in was ‘Stafford’! (I’m a wedding photographer based in Stafford!)

1920’s inspired wedding.

Karen wore a gorgeous gold 1920s style sequinned dress and the venue was decorated with lots of art deco touches, including black and white feather table centre pieces and signage. When we headed off for a bit of alone time, we took a short walk up the drive way to a field full of bright yellow osr flowers – these will always make an great background for wedding photos.
