Bride Sharon and her Groom John.
On Friday I photographed my most local wedding of 2018 at Brocton Hall, in Staffordshire.
Nearly all of my weddings this year have been outside of Staffordshire, so it was nice to be on home ground and to join Sharon and John at Brocton Hall for their wedding.
I love taking natural, relaxed photos at weddings and this was no exception. John is a member of the golf club at Brocton so it was an obvious choice for their wedding day. The staff all did a great (and speedy) job of getting the room turned around after the ceremony, whilst guests enjoyed the drinks reception. As you will see from the photos the room looked incredible, with beautiful flowers in jugs, taking centre stage on the tables.
Staffordshire September sun.
September has to be one of my favourite months for photographing weddings. The colours of the trees are just starting to turn a lovely colour and the light as the sun is just setting can be amazing, both together can create stunning photos.
Both Sharon and John were drawn to my style of photography as they ‘couldn’t be bothered with posing.’ The way they looked at each other and being surrounded by their closest friends and family, it was easy to do my thing and capture all the love in their photos.
