Having my first wedding to photograph at Kings Acre near Chester was a real treat.Â
Getting to spend the day with Michaela and Tom was also pretty good! We got on from the moment I met them for tea and cake. We talked about dogs (rip Ted), Breaking Bad (Skylar is irritating but I have yet to watch it again) and a about their wedding plans. When they told me about their venue, I couldn’t have imagined at the time just how up my street it was.Â
To me, Kings Acre is as near as perfect as a wedding venue could be.
A family run venue that focus on a limited number of weddings per year Kings Acre ticks all the boxes. Personal one to one treatment from Jess and Lynden, lot’s of green open space, plenty of accommodation for guests and only 4 miles from Chester. It provides the ideal blank canvas for you to have exactly the wedding that you want.

Michaela and Tom took Kings Acre that bit closer to perfection. Their day included plenty of cider, a dog, beautiful bridesmaid dresses, a brass band surprise and a bride and groom who I laughed and cried with.Â
Everything on their wedding day reflected who they are, I only hope the photos did the same!
